QUALCO SA, Tax ID No 094503426, is a technology company, engaging in the provision of services.

 

The collection and processing concern personal data of which QUALCO SA becomes aware as part of carrying out its envisaged activities and providing services to its customers. QUALCO SA ensures compliance with the applicable legal framework on data protection, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and processes personal data in accordance with the applicable key principles.

 

In this context, QUALCO SA takes and implements effective and appropriate technical and organisational measures in order to ensure the required level of protection of personal data. More specifically, personal data:

a) are processed lawfully, fairly, and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subjects;

b) are collected for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes and are not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with these purposes;

c) are adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed;

d) are accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date;

e) are kept in a form that permits identification of data subjects only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed;

f) are processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage, using appropriate technical and organisational measures;

g) are not transferred to a country or territory outside the European Economic Area, unless that country or territory ensures an adequate level of protection of the rights and freedoms of data subjects in relation to the processing of personal data or the transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards or meet other specific conditions provided for by applicable law.

 

Finally, QUALCO SA undertakes that it will implement adequate procedures for ensuring the proper handling of incidents of breaches of data protection rules and/or unauthorised access, including the timely notification of the incident to the competent supervisory authority (HDPA) within 72 hours of becoming aware of the event. If notification is given after 72 hours, it must be able to give reasons for the delay. Furthermore, in the event of a personal data breach, which may result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of the data subjects, QUALCO SA is obliged to communicate the personal data breach to the Data Subject without delay.
